Nothing too exciting here... my angel tank... needs some drama in the planting I think. I'm thinking of taking a lot of the valis out and getting some onion plants. It's also perpetually quite cloudy - i've got some potting compost under the gravel and, from the look of my filter wool, it's leaching into the water slightly... thinking that I might have to make a change to the substrate because even if the plants are doing well, the slight haze is driving me mad. I've upgraded the filter once to see if it helps and it's slightly better but not much.

It's a rio 240 with 2 X powerglo t8 tubes and a tetratec ex1200 filter. Stock = 9 ottos, 2 zedra snails, 4 keyholes, 4 bolivian rams, 8 angels

Photo isn't very good, sorry!

How you like it!

I think you've got a tank you should really be proud of. The colours are great, looks natural and does look a bit different from your average tank. Your piece of wood is absolutely superb too, brilliant find there.

Are they all Koi Angels in there?

No... a mixture couple of common, couple of marble... one gold, one silver/grey... will sort out a decent pic

No C02 - started dosing easycarbo this week.... most of the growth is down to the potting soil base layer i think (and the fact that they're undemanding plants to begin with!) Might add some DIY C02 at a later date, but ATM things are doing OK without.

Thanks for the (too) kind words blush.gif
