Hi there I havent recently boguht two Petricola and have two questions I would apreciate if you asked...
1) Mine never seem to come out even at night, do they like to be in groups, should I buy more? 2) They dont seem to be eating much either, Ive tried Algae Wafer, Flake, Pellet, Prawn.....anymore suggestions? Many Thanks Ace Of Spades |

I would suggest getting a few more as they are social catfish and tolerate each other. Also try using frozen foods like bloodworms, black worms, mysis shrimp, or brine shrimp. If they don't eat blood worms then there is something wrong. I've never hada fish turn them down, not even my oscar.

Just curious as to how it will hurt the cichlids, I've never heard that before. Also, do you have access to Hikari products. They make a frozen packet of brine shrimp that comes with some spirulina added in to give the fish some plant vitamins.

Bloodworm is high protein and can cause bloat and kill the fish as most African Cichlids are herbivores I think... |

Oh right I remember hearing that Africans have an inability to process proteins. I didn't notice that you have Africans till I saw the 80 gallon Mbuna tank under your signature.
