Until a short while ago, the Catfish forum was just that, a single forum which dealt with all catfish issues. It is now split into sub forums dealing with more specific groups of catfish.

We have moved the old threads from the unified forum into the subforums. In many cases, this is straight forward, a thread about a Cory gets moved to Corys, and so on.

It is apparent, however, that several threads were either very "general catfish" threads, or had queries about more then one group in them. This made splitting these threads into the new subforums more difficult. Rather then loose good information, these threads are moved to whichever subforum appeared to be the most suitable, even though the information content may be relevent to others as well.

The bottom line is that if using the board search feature, it may be a good idea to search the entire catfish forum and ALL subforums rather then just limiting a search to the specialist category.

I stress, there are not a large number of these threads, but having read some of them in the moving process, I can see that some of them do hold very good information.

Just a suggestion to "enhance your searching experience" as they say sick.gif laugh.gif

They should be on the cory section. I read a book from Warren E. Burgess on Cory Cats in particular, and the related catfishes, and Hoplosternum(spelling?) are included.
