we have 2 elephant noses bought together and they were fine in the shop and niow they just bully eachother
any ideas why?  ??? |

Elephant noses are extreemely aggressive towards their own kind and so should be kept alone or in large groups of at least 6 so that the aggression is spread amongst them. They also are not an easy fish to keep and are very senstive to changes.
You will need to remove one of them or the least dominant fish will likely be killed. Also what other fish are you keeping them with? This post has been edited by Davo86: Feb 6 2008, 05:54 PM |

make sure they have a couple of cosy hiding places. As mentioned above they are best in groups or on their own.
