hey all just a quick question
if i were to set up an oddball community tank what would be the minimum size recomended and what type would be cool in it thanx guys |

id go the other way and get a good size one, if you get a small one now, you will within a period of time, want a bigger tank to put more critters in

i'd start of with >100 gallons. gives you (almost) all the space you need to house really stunning oddballs

These are very messy fish, and even though they may have enough room, you would need a pretty hefty filtration system. |

kirbs and congo tetras would eventually become a nice snack for the bichir...Also, having a few bichirs in an 80 gallon would not be a good idea in either sense. These are very messy fish, and even though they may have enough room, you would need a pretty hefty filtration system. my 10" delhezi gets on fine with my congo tetras. Also, by "a few bichirs" i meant 1-2 senegals. |

cool cool,jus plotting ideas for a new tank that might be started in a few months
theres some good ideas,space wise i think the biggest i can go is 50 gallons (uk) |
