Please help add to the resources we have here, if you wish to write an article post it here (Beginner Questions), useful guides will be added to the FAQ topics. To add a species profile simply start a new topic in the relevant Fish Profiles part of the site, where it will be reviewed before being added. |

I noticed the original post and took the time to fix it, so that other people can benefit from the vast knowledge it contains.

I hadn't even noticed the computer glitch or whatever happened to William's original post. Thank you very much!

Hi i have a question i was hoping some of you out there with more knowledge of home aquariums could help me...I have a 20 Gallon aquarium with 4 fish i have 2 sunburst platys and 2 red and black platys and today my two sunburst platys started acting kind of strange well strange for my fish anyway (lol) usually they are swimming around and playing with the other two fish in the tank and the four are usually very active. The two yellow ones today though started hovering near the top and in corners at the top avoiding the other two fish in the tank like they are afraid of them or something and if the two red one's came any where near them they would swim in the other direction which is strange because usually the four play well together after all they are schooling fish and do better in larger groups thats why we got 4 to start with. They seem to be eating fine and do eat when i put food in the tank. Is this normal behavior that i'm just not aware of or is something else going on? If you could let me know what you think that would be great. Thank you all very much!!!
