you cannot control the temp on these but i find that they are good and have them in my spawning tanks. I have ordered 3 more from my LFS

Yeah well, they increase the temp by more depending on the tank size, if it's a smaller tank will get warmer from the ambient
I recommend them for anything under 3 gallons (12 litres), anything over that use a Visi Therm 25W heater for 12-25 litre tanks, because it has a thermostat. Saying THAT, the Visi Therm is also good for 3 gallon bowls, because of the large surface area, it's better controlled. Hope that makes sense! |
