Hi all,

I have a few catfish and im not sure if im feeding them enough.

I have a plec who is about 6inch, a bumblebee catfish, and 4 corys (as well as my other fish)

I feed the catfish at night and the other fish in the morning.

I have plec food for my plec and small pellets for my cory's, i have been told that the bumblebee can eat both of these.

I usually feed them 3 tablets of plec food and a pinch (about 7) of the pellets. i have noticed that the cory's like to eat the plec food as well as there own and im a litte worried that my plec isnt getting enough to eat.

None of them look underweight or anything but i do worry.

Any ideas if im feeding them enough?

If your corys are getting enough i am sure you pleco is eating as well.

It is best to feed catfish after lights out (most catfish are nocturnal) which may be better for your pleco if you dont think it is getting enough food.

One thing to point out.
Your pleco will soon be too large to fit in the tank you have.

Are you planning to upgrade?

EMZ

If your plec is looking rounded and not hollow sided biggrin.gif then he is doing ok, remember he will also clean the glass and suck up any other waste. You should check on them eating every now and then.....Stay up late or lights out early so you can view them and watch there in take.

That tank will need to grow soon crazy.gif

You should give the plec away because you are overstocked...

After dark and a variety of foods. yes.gif Try shrimp pellets, algae discs, and vegies.
