Stocking Question, just a quick question can sum1 help pls

hi just a quick question would this stocking be ok for a 52USG tank??
2 Yellow Labs
2 C. Afra
2 M. Grekshae
2 P. Demasoni
4 A. Baesnchi
4 P. Scolofi (F1)

Yeah, but i would make every fish species a 3 f/1 m kinda thing. So 4 of each. That would be alot better for the fish.

Not with the Demsoni.....they would annihelate eachother

And the Greshakei and the Demasoni are going to be way too agressive for the Aulonocara i'm afraid.

I would drop the Aulonocara and the Demasoni and go for 4 each of the other 4 species with a 3M/1F ratio. good.gif

Its my stocking list and he wants to buy some of my fish, I didnt know what would work well in his tank so I asked him to post on here as his is 200 and mine is 300..

Yeah but again stick to the 3 female 1 male ratio. 52 US is fine, you have a lot more options still.

i would be getting that ratio eventually but hopefully buying them fish first.... also would they be alright with estherea (excuse spelling)

DAve honestly dont hope to get those fish first then get the ratio. Talk to someone at your LFS let them know exactally what your looking for. Suppose you get those fish first and your 2 yellow labs are both males, now either ones going back or your bringing home 6 females. I just think its smarter to go about it that way. Go for the ratio first before the fish. Otherwise your results might not be a very sucessfull one

i no so far the socolofi are 3f to 1m and yellow labs are really easy to get in the uk so that wouldnt be a problen not sure about the others though

I get your point, but I'd be more worried about the Afra then the yellow labs good.gif

You should always try to get them in male/with female groups good.gif . In your case it's 1 male w/3 females.
