Its possible, but like alot of things depends on tanksize.

Also I would watch out for hybridization as they are closely related.

Gt may be a bit fiesty for the acara's. as with all cichlids though the temprement of the individual fish will play a big factor.

I'm sure there is a flowerhorn name out there for the hybridization of the terror and acara. Might just be called a blue or green flowerhorn....

i have had a terror and blue acara together for about 8 months now and they are best buddies! from wot i gather it realy depends on the indervidual fish.

very true james. personalities in fish can differ as much as humans. My jd is a pussycat when I hear some of the horror stories out there...

the blue acara's ive kept all got pushed around. and the GT i had was badass.
so keeping them together might be a bad idea. personaly i dont think blue acaras have much going for them.
besides the bit of blue on their face their more grey

I can imagine you would need a huge tank. Aggression I think depends more if partners have been established.
