It may take years for them to actually spawn. Remember, clownfish have life spans certainly on the order of decades, so they don't just breed "out of the box" so to speak smile.gif. You'll know when they're nesting though. The male will voraciously clean an area of the rockwork with his mouth (it'll look like he's biting the rocks all day) and defend it with his life. Meanwhile the female's lower rear abdomen will become distended. This will last for a few days before the female deposits the eggs on to the cleaned rockwork where the male will then fertilize them. Both will then defend the eggs and fan them with their fins for a period of a week before they hatch.

As to how to get them to start the breeding process earlier? Dunno; that's a question for the "bible" on the subject of clownfish breeding "Clownfishes" - by Joyce Wilkerson.
