Convict Eggs, allready

2 of my convicts which i thought were female have paired up and are gaurding eggs in the cornor of the tank smile.gif most of the eggs are yellow and the rest are white what does this mean?should i do anything or just leave them?

Yellow ones are fertile and the white ones arent(parents will dispose of the white ones). Before you said the colour of the eggs i thought it could have been a possibility that they were both female that laid eggs together. Id leave them if they are in their own tank or in a very large tank with other fish.

yes... they breed and breed and breed so expect alot more fry to come......

the eggs had gone this morning i think my little plec ate them sad.gif how often will a pair spawn?

Most pairs will spawn about every 2 weeks I would expect.
