Need Some Help Sick Or Full Of Eggs

hi all i need some help my female betta is in a community tank i have had her for about a year or so the problem is in the last few days she has swelled to twice her normal size im not sure if she is sick or possably full of eggs? i cant post pictures sorry but would really love some help

Is she eating, acting normally and stuff? What are your water parameters?

she seems fine eating ok acting ok all my other fish are also fine i dont have a test kit to test my water

You should probably pick up a test kit at some point. But my best guess would be that she is either constipated or eggbound, which happens when she is unable to get rid of excess eggs. Try looking at her from above, are her scales kind of pokeing out?

her scales are not pokeing out they look normal her belly looks red/pink where it has swelled she looks almost like a heavy pregnant guppy (if you know what i mean)

yea i know what you mean, but its hard o say for sure what exactly is wrong, females can get quite round when laden with eggs, but its not useral for them to swell so large so quickly. My suggestion for right now would be to cut back her food a little and see if u can get her to eat a boiled pea (without the shell), if she is bloated this will help her alot. If u can, try to get a couple pictures.
