hello, my banded gourami is swimming erratically.when he stops either below a rock or on top of the water you will see him temporarily floating on his side. he also looks like he is bloated at the belly a little on one side. ph 7.5,amonia 0 , nitrites 0 , nitrates 0. is there any hope for him or is he on borrowed time ?

Not good when they do this.
Epson salt bath to draw the fluids out. What do you feed the fish. To be honest chances of survival are very slim. |

thank you , he was eating freez dried bloodworms earlier in the day before this happened. i should have soaked them before i fed them to him. today seems to be doing ok but i might remove him for a short saltwater bath.

To be honest frozen blood worms are better.
Don't feed them more tthan twice a week as they are high in protein. Good luck. |
