Basically I've got this (cycled and fairly mature) setup:

5 Pearl Danios
2 Rams
4 Otos
2 Peppered Cories

I'm looking to add a male dwarf gourami and possibly some ember tetra's (at a later stage.)
Originally I was going to add 2 females as well but I'm wondering if the male would be alright by himself with this community? What I was thinking was to add him and see how he gets on - if he's calm after a couple of months, leave the setup as it is. If he gets aggressive I can add a couple of females.

Would this work?

I've had my heart set on dwarves since before I set the tank up, and have been waiting patiently for the tank to mature. Honey's are nice but dwarves are much more of a centrepiece, and I think their body shape itself it pretty eye catching.

As mentioned elsewhere, had a look at two lots of dwarves in two shops - one lot was being quarantined, the other didn't look as good as they normally do so I've decided to hang fire and got Ember tetra's instead.
