Are choc gauramis easy to keep. I got 1 the other day but it seems to jus hide away at the back of the tank, I got it as a centre piece fish but it dont seem to lik the centre lol

just give it a little time.mine was like that at first.now she goes all over the tank and even explores the bottom.

Not the easiest fish to keep, they require a quiet tank with very soft water...a pH of 5.5 has even been mentioned, although i've heard of them being successfully kept in tap water.
