Common Name: Bubble Eye

Scientific Name: Carassius auratus

Family: Cyprinidae

Origin: China

Size: 5 inches

Care and Feeding: To be treated as a sub-tropical fish and not coldwater. Their deformities mean they are very delicate when it comes to both tank mates and tank décor. While they are omnivores, eating anything editable (although sinking foods are recommended over floating foods).

Temperature 18-24 C

Comments This fish is very much more delicate and complicated compared to other varieties. Only keep this fish with other poor sighted fancy goldfish. And ensure there are no sharp edges within the tank. However should the sac break, it may redevelop slowly over time. A great challenge for the more experienced goldfish collector.
