Hello, This is my first post,
I'm looking for some adult cherry shrimps, I recently had a bad experience with cherry shrimp from fleabay. Shrimps where great but tiny and my gouramis thought it was christmas.....20 shrimp 3 hours....two very bloated gouramis.. Took me ages to stop the kids crying... Northwest based... thanks in advance Neill |

I personaly wouldnt keep any cherry shrimp or dwarf shrimp for that matter with Gouramis adult or otherwish due to the fact that I have seen dwarf gouramis have a go at my long arm shrimp and kill one and they are 3 times the size of an adult cherry shrimp.
 My cherry shrimp used to live with endlers and even those would some times have a go at them if the mood look them. They do look great in a species tank though.  |

I forgot to mention they are dwarf gouramis not full size, will I still not be able to keep shrimps given there smaller size?

My betta ate all my Cherry Shrimp
 I got a Yamato Shrimp a few days ago and the new betta hasn't touched it

I would recommends Amano shrimp (Another common name of Yamato) as they are about twice the size of cherry shrimp when full grown. A lot of LFS sell these, probably more than stock cherries.
Cherrys will probably be picked on even if they were a bit bigger. |

THanks for all the helps guys N gals, might try my hand at some armano shrimps .... knowing my luck the dwarf gourmis will think I'll supersized there lunch....
