![]() Photo provided by Suemack. Common name/s: Batik Loach Scientific name: Neomacheilus triangularis Family: Cobitidae Origin: India Maximum size:3-5" Care: They prefer warm water 80-81F and a PH of 6.9-7.2. Another Loach that prefers to live singly, however, it is still and peaceful Loach and makes a strange and wonderful addition to any peaceful community. Feeding: Excepts most foods but frozen and live foods are far prefered. Sexing and Breeding: Unknown Comments: A shy Loach that often takes time to adapt to its new surrondings, provide plenty of hiding places so it can feel comfortable and venture out on its own accord. It prefers a fine soft substrate to burrow in. When nervous or stressed the fish can change from a light brown to a very deep black. |
