Does anybody have experience with these or even better does anybody know if these would attack shrimp?

Yes; No; and the name is Sewellia lineolata.
If you get them, make sure that the tank is cool (around 70F), has lots of O2 and strong current. hth |

highly doubt they'd attack anything, they are quite timid fish that like lots of hiding places
