Don't worry cause you'll probably won't see them eat till there use to there tank and they are nocturnal eaters, Also what size are they and your tank stats?
I don't believe they eat algae wafers you should get some shrimp pellets etc. Don't worry unless they are starting to look unhealthy or very skinny.

Toss the food in before going to bed. They also scavenge uneaten food from the bottom at night. I feed mine sinking pellets, algae wafers, shrimp pellets. They eat anything. They will calm down once they are used to the tank. They prefer good coverage from the light. Do you have a cave for them ?

its a 46, i dont have the ph scale yet (dropped 500 already, it can wait) or a nitrate kit. its funny about the cave. i have a piece of driftwood in there and it use to have 2 ways in. well the pleco was there first so since i blocked the other entrance, hes the guard of the cave. ill have to get them something they can shelter under. i really enjoy my pictus' because theyre so strange looking and bring a lot of movement to the tank. i decided between a shoal of corys or the two pictus' and the little guys won.
