I have 2 male lyretail, I got 4 females about 10 days ago but I think they were pregnant when I got them because they had the little black dot on their stomach but werent particularly fat, a couple of them have got a bit fatter and Im sure at least 3 of them are 'in the club' so to speak.

How long will it take before they actually drop and when should I transfere them to my breeding trap to avoid too much stress?

dont put them in a breeder trap if you can help it.they stress out the fish, try to leave her and put lots of hiding spaces in the tank for the babies to hide in and once they ae born trandsfer them to the trap
