As the title suggests...
Is this what a gravid spot is?   You can see it more clearly on her right side. Sorry about the poor quality. For the life of me, I have NO IDEA how people get such great pics of their fish. As soon as I pointed the camera...she darted off! Then finally she came back, but all my other fish were getting in the way

I would be able to take a better pic if she would just stay still!!!
Those pics were from my phone, I'll try with an actual camera this time

  These photos are more clear, but now you can't see the dark patch?  I can definately see it on her when I look at her. BTW my water is yellow because I'm treating for popeye. |

OMG I KNOW SHE IS NOW!!!
I went to have another look, and suprise suprise...she stays there when I don't have the camera! Anyway, she must have gone in the right sort of light and I could see black spots there! That's the babies eyes right? OMG YAYYYYY!!!! Ok, lets assume you COULD see the gravid spot....from my pics, how long do you think she has to go? She still seems to be swimming around a bit, but towards the bottom mainly. |
