Her gravid spot was black for some time, I put her in the breeder, and she never dropped, and now her gravid spot is black with red in the back...?! Is this bad?!

She could have re-absorbed the unborn fry back into her, stress can do this sometimes to guppys- generally speaking you should avoid putting a pregnant guppy in a breeding net at all costs unless she is being harassed by other fish in the tank or has absolutely no where secluded to give birth in when she is ready etc. Breeding nets are best used for putting the fry in for a week or few weeks after they are born.

if the unborn fry are re-absorbed by the mother, what happens then? Does she eventually give birth to some babies, will she eventually shrink down in size to the point where she is not pregnant anymore?
