Hi I bought a Rusty cichlid the other wek, well I thought t was. It has grew considerably and now seems to have blue lips and doesn't have the spots on the anal fin which my other one does. Does this ring any bells with anyone? I will try an post a pic tomorrow as I have one but just struggling to load it to my comp at the minute. Any help appreciated, thx. Sounds like one for you this Ferris, it does look a lt like the rusty but for the blue lips and the spots.

Oh I know you might not be able to tell as its not a good shot an it has no head. I was sold the blue one on the right of the 7th pic as an electric blue. Is this right?

I would say you just have a male and female - female Rusties are a lot duller than the males.

cheers m8. I thought that at first as the female was definately doin a little dance for the male when I first put him in. Any idea on the electric blue johani?
