Hi

I hope this isn't a silly question - but I can't find anything about it on this site. I recently purchased a shoal of penguin tetra for my community tank - thing is, I didn't notice in the shop, but all the penguin tetra seem to have flat white noses right on the ends. Not fluffy or anything. Is this common in penguin tetra or are these deformities from birth / disease? It seems odd that all 6 of them have it.

Tank: 240L Juwel Rio, Medium Planted, Sand substrate
Fish: 2x Angel, 4x Keyhole, 4x small Corys, 2x Blue Ram, 4x Rummynose Tetra, 6x Penguin Tetra, 5x Buenos Aires Tetra, 1x Bristlenose Pleco

Wierd. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks!

Never kept penquin tetra so don't know if it's normal for them to have white noses.
If all the penquins have white noses I wouldhn't worry to much.

Thanks for the reply guys
The white marketing is right on the front of their noses from their mouths upwards - kinda makes them look flat / bitten off - wierd.
Hey ho - as long as noone thinks it's anything to worry about
