I was considering purchasing the single Pim Pictus I have seen at my local aqautic shop over the past year.
However, after a bit more research, i find that they need to shoal, and as such Might be better of in a tank of their own... Would a 24" be big enough? or a 36"? Thanks all! |

It seems entirely random as to how gregarious P. pictus are. Some people say they see theirs swim in groups, wheras others (including mine and at least a couple of other people) only interact to argue over a resting spot.

IME they are very active swimmers and I wouldn't put them in anything smaller than a 4 ft.
