Have finally decided on the next pair for spawning. Sygun & Misty were put in the divided spawning tank this morning for conditioning. Her dorsal was nipped off like that by the girls the first night she was in with them but is growing back nicely now biggrin.gif They are a good match size wise as they are both fairly small still......I don't think he would be able to wrap any of the bigger girls wacko.gif

Sygun

Misty

Update on these babies. We have 20 copper babies that are now 2 months old yesterday. All are eating and growing well but are now starting to squabble and one has had his caudal chomped in half angry.gif angry.gif We've separated the 2 biggest which look like males and are doing the same with another 2 in a minute. The copper colours are really showing through now and look great good.gif At a glance and going by length of ventrils most look to be male but you never know. I'll be watching like a hawk from now on unsure.gif

Nothing like planning ahead laugh.gif laugh.gif They should hopefully be ready in about a months time as long as they grow well over the next few weeks. Then I'll start getting some individual pics of them good.gif
