How Many Females, in a 4fter |

Hi all just wondering how many females i could put into a 4ft tank? thats about 38 uk gallons.48x12x18 inch.Cheers.

With plenty of plants and hiding spaces, you could probably be pushing 20 females into there. As long as they have more than enough places to get away from each other, and a good filter I can't see a problem[other than the filter flow disturbing them]

 will have some plants/rocks and ornaments in there, Only got 3 females atm but got 3 more coming on tuesday

I would think 20 would go in just nice and it would look great too so when its done be sure to get us some pics lol.
Edit: just wanted to add that when you add new females you have to take the old ones out and rearrange the tank then add them all at once. I know it sounds like a pain in the butt and it is but it stops bullying by the existing fish. you propable wouldn't have to do this if you added 9 females at once to you exsiting 3 as it would spread out agression.
