I have 4 mollies and 11 molly fry in my tank. I left for a day to go to a sleepover and when I came back I tested the water for ammonia and it was at 1 or 2 ppm I cleaned the gravel for poop, I did 2 water changes of 50% and even rinsed off the decorations in the tank. I tested the water again and it was almost the same thing. Is there anything I can do to get the ammonia down in the tank?? It is about 1 week old and in the process of cycling. I put gravel in, from a mature tank so I thought the bacteria on the gravel would help but I don't think its gonna. Also, the fry are in a breeder box and its getting a little dirty at the bottom of it. How can I clean it without hurting the fish?? It's getting a little cloudy in the tank too, is there anything I can do to fix that?? Please answer ASAP because I am going crazy in my mind. I don't want the fry or my mollies to die from the super high ammonia.

Hmm, be sure the water is well enough oxygenated, also, be sure your filter is working.

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Whats your other water stats in nitrite, nitrate.
All you can do is water changes and increase aeration in a cycling tank.
Cut down on feeding.
Do you have another tank that you could take to a mature sponge from the filter.
For the breeding box just remove the waste with a small net.
