I recently bought some flourite for my new planted tank, and i washed the flourite once and put the gravel in the tank. Then, as i filled the tank, I noticed it got very cloudy. I did a complete water change then refilled the tank, but all that did was reduce the cloudiness down a little.
I dont feel like doing 4-5 water changes till i can get the water clear and I've waited 24 hours in hopes the debris or whatever is in the water settled, but it hasnt. What should i do? I get my fluval 2 tommarow, will that clear it up? |

Run a filter with lots of filter floss.
If you have extra filters run two or three even. It'll clear up, but if you keep doing water changes that will only stir up more cloudiness from the flourite. |
