Cool video, Ive had my first tank for a about a month now and i counted 13 baby guppies in the tank this morning..talk about bad timing as i was just about to transfer from the 20L tank to my new 60L. It will be interesting to see whether my Leopard or Blue guppy is the daddy
Not doing to bad so far..in one month my Black molly gave birth to 7 who are doing just fine, about a week ago my Mickek Mouse Plattie gave me 9 and today the Guppy completed the set of all my livebearers giving birth |

I would go ahead and seperate her from the other fish. I seperated mine and then She had the fry 4 days later which was 3 days ago! |

I got a very prego white sailfin molly the other day, and that night caught her in the act of giving birth, so I netted her up and put her in the net breeder. It was amazing to watch~! With every fry she had, she got thinner and thinner... the people at work (I'm a vet nurse) laughed at me when I raved about it the next day. All we see is Caesarians (and lots of them!) on dogs and cats and they reckon fish are boring. I totally disagree! Thanks for sharing your little miracle William!

WOW, that was cool. My guppies gave birth about 4 weeks ago now and are still in the breading net. They are looking more and more like guppies every day. How long do they need to be on the breading net befor i let them go into my tank?? I dont want to let them go and have them made into lunch for my Pictus!!
Also, do you know if red crabs kill and eat live fish?? I have had a few go missing within hours and that is the only thing i can think of thats happening to them!! many thanks |
