Thanks for all the suggestions.

How many angels would I be allowed to have in a tank that size, the normal breeding pair or more?

JayJay - I got the tank from GiantPetstore in norwich.
They're clearing out all their tanks they've got and setting low prices to get rid of them all quickly. The rio300 happened to be the last one, it was on display but had no fish, nor no water, all brand new smile.gif

They also had a 320litre tank for sale, maybe a rio400 display tank for sale with fish in *not sure if it was for sale* but they also had a marine tank for £1020 a trigon 190 and 350.

They don't have the tanks on the site except miniture ones, but if you can get down to the store, cos after they've all gone they're not ordering anymore in!

Also I think I may leave the cichlids for a while, as I do like to have bright green plants in my tank, and cichlids are known to dig plants up I think.

So the main display I think will be Angels. Any ideas of how hardy zebra plecostamus' are? I may try and get 2 and POSSIBLY breed them.

I have also noted down a Eheim External Filter... or so many to choose from! :@ Tis hard.

I just want to supply the best external filter for the fish once they go in.

A tiny bit big for a Rio 300 wink.gif

I've kept Gold Severums in a Rio 180 before, they're nice fish but do get a bit bland after a while.
Zebra plecos are very expensive fish, they are well over £100 each and you need about 6 to get a breeding group going.

I highly recommend, as another member recommended, ornate birchirs as they are truly stunning fish with loads of personality smile.gif
