If shes not pregnant then you should turn the temp up a bit. helps if you have another tank for this as it could affect the other fish
I did this with my cherry barb who was pine coning and bloated, and within 2 days she was fine |

I Was just about to post asking exactly the same thing , i have a mickey mouse platy like this , and the anal swelling bit , pooing fine etc . nothing else strange . but she is a giant fish i swear./ Hopefully she due to give birth then , as i havent had any babies from her yet !!

I've tried all the things mentioned in this post, she's still massive and getting bigger. slightly more so on one side. im still hoping its pregnancy though

My platys got huge with carrying fry.
I don't know if its the fry or something wrong. I would of expected to see her going to the toilet as that all I ever noticed with livebearers. |

I found her dead when i came in this morning
Her belly seemed very soft as if filled with air. Probably organ failure as Wilder said Ah well. |
