I would be interested in helping too; my tank is cycled and ready to go; just cleaned half of the filter media though, so it will be another 2 weeks or so before I can donate any sponges.
Location: Uxbridge - UK I might add, if anyone wants to piggy-back a filter on my tank, they are more than welcome too (please ensure the filters are new or sterilized first... ) Spinal This post has been edited by rdd1952: Jun 26 2008, 01:40 AM |

I can provide filter sponges from a fairly small tank (24x12x12) if you provide me with a replacement. I would also consider running your filter in my tank for a week should you prefer. Just send me a PM and I'll try to get back in touch. Fife, Scotland |

Mine's probably mature enough now to be able to donate.
I'll swap fresh for mature Ehiem media (the little balls), unfortunately the tank's a little too small to be running another filter in but I'd happily hang some new media in a stocking near the filter intake I'm in Petersfield/Hampshire/UK |

I haven't been active in a while but you can definitely put me on the list. Besides the ceramic media that came with my Fluval filters, I added a full 2 litre jar of the Seachem Matrix Bio Media to them just so I would have extra when I needed to set up a Q-tank or someone needed some.

I'll donate media for the Jewel Record compact h system. I am baced in leeds, united kingdom. I assume that most members cyceling a tank of this type, have just bought their set-up. If this is the case, please bring along one of the blue sponges that came with your tank, as an exchange for the mature media. This saves us both additional expence, and no new media has to be purchased. The biological sponges in by tank are a year onld, so are well matured, and still have many years servicable life left in them.
I can give any advise you need, when you collect your mature media. This post has been edited by rabbut: Jun 26 2007, 11:24 AM |
