Quick word to anyone who logs in from another IRC server, the server is now kinetic.oftc.net not unununuium.oftc.net. The port is still 6667.
This could explain any troubles some peoples have had in the last few days. |

How about the fact that I just can't connect to it....been trying non stop for the past few days and it refuses to cooperate.

hello all. I tried to venture onto it last night, found it difficult to get into, ie, flicked through the channels, gave me lists of allsorts of things I did'nt understand, when I did manage to get some feed back they seemed extremely unfriendly and minutes later i was banned?????did'nt do anything or abuse anyone, strange.

I just cant connect
 everytime I try I get the messege:Connecting... Unable to connect : java.security.AccessControlException : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission irc.oftc.net resolve)  I got some time on my hands and it would be great to chat to others but, well I just cant get on Edit: I found out its becoz I didnt agree to the certificate thing, but now I cant get it up again, so do I have to make a new account and just use the to chat? try deleting your cookies look on your pc for folders named "tempory internet files" and "cookies" delete all of the items with inthose files then try again. you'll proberbly have to log into any site that you have auto login set up on. |
